Kashlie Krunch:
From Shopify to Shipping
A beautiful storefront was only the beginning. We connected the laptop, shipping printer, labels and in-person payments—and showed the owner how to use them.

The Challenge
A successful e-commerce launch doesn't end when the website goes live. Someone still has to take the order, print the label, ship the package and accept payment at the next local event.
Kashlie Krunch is a family-run granola brand with roots in Ventura County's farmers markets and community events. The next step was to give customers a convenient way to shop online—and make fulfillment manageable for the business owner.
The goal was practical: give the owner one connected set of tools for online orders, shipping, inventory and in-person sales. Just as important, complete the hands-on setup, confirm the equipment worked and leave the owner with clear instructions.
The Value We Added
Eight pieces of one working operation.
01
The Online Storefront
Make it easier for customers to discover and buy Kashlie Krunch.
We built a branded, mobile-friendly Shopify store and connected the custom domain, product catalog, and checkout. Customers can shop four flavors and a bundle, while the owner manages orders through the Shopify dashboard.

02
Product Sales
Help customers find their favorite flavor — and make it easy to buy more.
We created clear product listings for all four flavors, plus a $50 bundle that lets customers try them all while saving $10.

Original Almond Pecan Cranberry
$15 · 12 oz

Original — No Salt
$15 · 12 oz

Cashew Pecan Pistachio Cherry
$15 · 12 oz

Walnut Pecan Blueberry
$15 · 12 oz

The 4-Flavor Bundle
Four 12 oz bags — one of every flavor. $50 (was $60 individually).
03
New Sales Opportunities
Make it easier to turn corporate gifting interest into larger orders.
We built a dedicated gifting page where businesses can explore gift options and submit inquiries for clients, employees, and events.

04
Brand Consistency
Help customers recognize and trust the brand wherever they see it.
We prepared print-ready packaging artwork for each of the four flavors, keeping the genuine product imagery and existing brand identity consistent. These food packaging labels are separate from the 4 × 6 thermal shipping labels used to send orders.

05
The Laptop, Thermal Printer & 500 Shipping Labels
The technology had to work in the owner's real workspace, not just in a website demo.
We configured the owner's laptop with Shopify, Pirate Ship and business email, putting the everyday tools in one place.
The original label printer had recurring glitches. We replaced it with a more dependable thermal printer, configured it for 4 × 6 shipping labels and successfully tested the print workflow. The setup also included 500 labels.
Then we trained the owner to repeat the process from her laptop. A successful test print was a more useful milestone than a screenshot of a shipping integration.

06
Shipping, Orders & Inventory
Make online orders, shipping, and local pickup easier to manage.
We connected Shopify with Pirate Ship, bringing online orders into a label-printing and fulfillment workflow. Inventory, orders and promotional tools remain manageable inside Shopify instead of being scattered across different systems.
Pirate Ship Shipping
Shopify orders flow into a practical shipping-label preparation and printing process.
Inventory & Orders
Products, bundles and orders managed through the Shopify back office.
Promotions
Discount codes and seasonal offers can be updated without rebuilding the site.
Local & Online Sales
Shopify and its POS tools support sales on the website and at local events.
07
In-Person Payments, Set Up on the iPhone
Online ordering matters. So does taking payment in front of a customer at a farmers market.
We set up Shopify POS and Tap to Pay on the owner's iPhone for compatible contactless cards and digital wallets. We also configured a physical chip card reader as another way to take card payments. The owner now has practical payment options for local selling alongside online checkout.
Tap to Pay
Contactless checkout directly on the iPhone with Shopify POS.
Chip Reader
A dedicated physical reader for customers paying with chip cards.
08
Hands-On Training & an Owner's Guide
A great handoff means the business can use its systems—not just admire them.
We walked the owner through the setup on her laptop, including label printing and connected apps, then delivered a nine-page guide covering inventory, fulfillment, promotions, payments and product updates. The owner can call or text directly if questions come up.
